Building connections on and off the pitch.

Program focus: Social connectivity and teamwork.

Key skills: Passing precision and communication.

This phase marks the transition from individual play to connectivity. We introduce the concept of "The Constellation"—how individual players work together to create a unified and powerful team.

  • Learning the "Push Pass" to move the ball accurately over various distances.

  • Using voice and non-verbal cues to support teammates.

  • Using the body as a "shield" to maintain possession under pressure.

  • Players act as "Satellites," linking up to move energy (the ball) across the field.

In Bright Blasters, our "Participation over Points" philosophy evolves into team-based discovery. We introduce the concept of "The Second Player"—the teammate waiting in space. Children begin to understand that sharing the ball is the most efficient way to move across the pitch. We focus heavily on communication, teaching kids to look for their "Star Buddies" and call for the ball. By using the "Satellite" narrative, we make complex concepts like support play and triangular positioning intuitive and fun. Here, the "Fair Go" spirit is cemented, as every child learns that a team only shines when every player is connected.
